LHP Mike Magnante (47)
Originally drafted by Kansas City in the 11th round in 1988, Magnante came to Houston as a free agent in December of 1996. In 88 games for the Astros in 1997 and 1998, Magnante was 7-8 with a 3.62 ERA, a 1.329 WHIP and 3 saves. Apparently, he fielded his position pretty well, too, as he was first in the league with a 1.000 fielding percentage in 1992 and first in range factor for a pitcher in 1998 and 2000.
