Elizabethton 13, Greeneville 6

W- Mat Batts (2-0)
L- Reymin Guduan (0-3)

Greeneville home runs: None.

Yeah, that probably wasn't the start to the series that the Appy Astros were looking for. They fell behind by as much as 13-1. But, they did have a 5-run 8th to make the final line more respectable.

Yonathan Mejia put them on the board with an RBI single in the 1st. They would have to wait until the 8th to score again. Jeffry Santos had a 2-run single, then Tony Nuñez followed that up with a 2-run triple. Nuñez, who finished 2-3, would score on a wild pitch.

Reymin Guduan labored through 2.1 innings as he allowed 6 runs (4 earned, 1 inherited runner charged to him) on 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 3. Krishawn Holley got the final 2 outs of the 3rd, but not before allowing 2 runs of his own on 2 hits. He walked 1. Robert Kahana pitched 4 innings and allowed 5 runs on 4 hits (3-run homer), walked 2, and fanned 3. Zach Davis struck out 1 in a 1-2-3 8th.

The difference in the game turned out to be a 3-run 6th for the Kissimmee Stros.

Arturo Michelena put them on the board with an RBI triple in the 5th. They got another RBI triple from Brauly Mejia in the 6th. He'd come home on a Dex McCall single, which occurred one batter later. Connor Goedert brought McCall home on an RBI double. McCall added another RBI single in the 8th, and Edwin Medina capped off the GCLstros scoring with an RBI triple in the 9th.

Justin Ferrell went 3.2 innings and allowed a run on 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 5. Christian Perdomo allowed a hit, walked 2, and struck out 2 over 1.1 scoreless. DSL Astros Blue 6, DSL Dodgers 3

W- Joel Belboder (4-2)
